Something for Everyone: Our Autumn 1st half Extra-Curricular Clubs!

At Durrington High School, learning goes far beyond the classroom! Our extra-curricular clubs offer students fantastic opportunities to explore new interests, develop their skills, discover hidden talents and make new friends.

Our Autumn Term clubs are well underway, with an exciting range of activities taking place at lunchtime and after school. Whether students enjoy sport, music, drama, technology, reading or creative activities, there really is something for everyone!

Students can get active with football, netball, basketball, badminton and rugby, or express their creativity through Dance Club, Choir, Drama Club, Creative Writing, Poetry Slam and Fashion and Textiles Club. For those with a passion for technology and problem-solving, there are opportunities to get involved in Coding Club, Girls Who Code, STEM Club, Lego Spike, and our ever popular Minecraft Club.

There are also plenty of opportunities for students to explore new subjects and interests, with clubs including Chess, Rubix Cube Club, Book Club, Silent Reading, History, Young Geographer of the Year and Careers Club. Students can also look forward to getting involved in our Whole School Musical and Dance Live!

With clubs running throughout the week, at lunchtime and after school, there are plenty of opportunities for students across all year groups to get involved, challenge themselves and discover something new.

We are proud to offer such a diverse range of activities that encourage our students to go beyond their best, build confidence and develop friendships beyond the classroom.

We encourage all students to get involved, try something new and make the most of everything Durrington has to offer!
