Dear Parents, Carers and Year 11 students,
School timetable expectations and arrangements from Thursday 11th June 2026 onwards
Firstly, we would like to express how incredibly proud we are of every Year 11 student. Throughout the examination period, they have demonstrated maturity, resilience, and determination, conducting themselves exceptionally well and serving as outstanding role models for younger students across the school.
As we approach the final stage of this examination season, we want to thank students for their hard work and commitment so far. With just a handful of exams remaining, they are now within touching distance of completing an important chapter of their education, and we urge them to maintain the excellent focus and effort they have shown throughout.
From Thursday 11th June, following the final whole-cohort Maths examination, students will only be required to attend school for lessons linked to their remaining examinations, as well as for the examinations themselves. This means students will no longer need to attend Period 1 unless they have a scheduled exam lesson. Students may leave the school site via the front entrance only, including between lessons. Those who wish to remain in school between sessions are welcome to follow their normal timetable and make use of the time for focused study and revision.
The table below outlines the subjects that still have examinations scheduled from 11th June onwards. Students preparing for these examinations are expected to attend the indicated lessons and any additional revision sessions. Registration marks will continue to be recorded, and we are aiming for 100% attendance so that every student can benefit from the support available.
The reason for these arrangements is simple: we want every student to have the very best opportunity to succeed. Many students have left examinations feeling confident, not only because of the effort they have invested at home, but also because they have continued to benefit from the guidance, expertise, and encouragement of their subject specialist teachers. These final lessons and revision sessions could make a significant difference, and we strongly encourage students to take full advantage of them.
We are immensely proud of what this year group has already achieved and look forward to seeing them finish this exam season with the same determination, positivity, and ambition they have shown throughout.

With just two weeks to go it is crucial that students continue to work hard for every exam. On that note, please see below the links to each subject’s google drive folder and Night Before News exam guidance videos – these are essential viewing for the remaining papers. There will also be a letter regarding our Year 11 clearance procedures and celebrations going out shortly.
