This year marks a very special milestone as we celebrate 50 years of Christmas Hampers, bringing festive cheer and support to those in need within our community.
For five decades, our Christmas hampers have been a symbol of generosity, kindness, and togetherness — made possible by the incredible efforts of our staff, students, families, and supporters. Every donation, every packed hamper, and every helping hand has helped make Christmas brighter for so many.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this amazing journey, and a huge thank you to Mr Woods, our previous Assistant Headteacher, for starting this wonderful tradition.
We were also extremely grateful for your contributions to our Santa’s Stockings. We now have lots of children’s books, games and toys that will be delivered to our local primary schools and given to children who are less fortunate.
It has been wonderful to see the effort our students have put in to decorating the Hampers and Santa’s Stockings, and the kindness they have shown when bringing in donations.
We are extremely proud of this Durrington tradition, and once again thank you for all your support in making this charity event possible.
Here’s to 50 years of giving… and many more to come!
