It’s been a great start to the season for all our sporting teams who have gone beyond their best in various sporting disciplines.

Our year 7 netball team came a very impressive second in the district netball tournament! They beat 12 other schools to reach the final, where they lost 3-1 to Davisons. This was the first time the girls had played together and we are extremely proud of their achievement.

The year 7 girls football team headed to TLA to play in the year 7 discovery tournament. The girls won their pool drawing against Angmering and beating SRWA and Steyning. They went on to win the semi-finals against TLA and won the final 1-0 against St Oscar Romero.

The year 10 netball team won their first fixture against Worthing High School winning 17-7. The whole team performed fantastically well.

The Year 11 boys rugby team started their season with a competitive game against Shoreham Academy. Some great performances were on display and the boys represented the school brilliantly.

Our Year 7 girls basketball team played their first competitive matches this week playing against 5 other teams. One of our teams came 2nd with only one-point separating them with 1st place. Our other team came 3rd on goal difference.

The U13 girls football team produced a convincing win over Longhill School and are through to the next round of the National Cup.

The year 9 boys football team have made it through to the 3rd round of the EFSA National Cup. They have played some excellent football putting in impressive performances.

The U14 basketball team won their first league match 14-4 against Shoreham Academy and have gone on to win further matches displaying great team work.
The Year 10 boys rugby team have shown an impressive start, after narrowly losing a tightly contested game against Steyning, they went on to beat Worthing High School and St Andrews with their performance on the pitch improving each week.
