Durrington High School Girls Football County Cup Winners!

Huge congratulations to our incredible Year 7 Girls’ Football Team, crowned County Cup Champions after and outstanding 2-0 victory over Varndean!

The girls delivered a superb performance against a very strong Varndean side, showing perseverance, pride, and exceptional teamwork from start to finish.

A fantastic achievement and a moment to remember – we are so proud of each and every one of you. County Cup Champions!

Assistant Headteachers Mrs Fuller and Mr Crane have been coaching the team throughout the competition. Mr Crane said: “We could not be prouder of the team; everyone played their part superbly. The togetherness, perseverance and desire shone through the game. They truly are an excellent group of students who thoroughly deserved to win the competition. The result is testament to their hard work and passion – well done girls, what a fantastic achievement!”
