We are so proud of the whole team from this year’s Dance Live. Our theme was Ink, Wind and Fire; From windswept moors and the fire of imagination, we follow the Brontë sisters as they write under oppression, grief, and fierce hope. Their early worlds of Gondal and Angria ignite into Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall. Through hardship, their wild, storm-lit voices rise—bold, defiant, and enduring, inspiring future generations.
We are pleased that our piece supported the message of Getting Durrington Reading! The team conducted themselves so well throughout the day, supporting one another and cheering other schools on. Spirits were high as we took to the professional stage, some of the team for the very first time. To gain second place was a huge achievement but we are more proud of the behaviour, kindness and support the whole team demonstrated throughout the day.
