Year 9 Art trip

The Art Department were delighted to take 42 of our most talented year 9 art students to Chichester on Wednesday 10th December on a sketching tour.

During the visit students learnt about the amazing art and architecture of the 950-year-old Chichester Cathedral, producing fantastic sketches and enjoying the festive, peaceful atmosphere of the historic surroundings.

Students also visited Pallant House Gallery where they were able to sketch from the exhibition work of Carlone Walker’s paintings exploring motherhood and William Nicholsons illustrations, prints and paintings from over two decades.

All students where an absolute credit to the school and Art Department and we are extremely proud of them all!
