The History department took 120 year 7 students to Hampton Court Palace, on two separate trips, where they explored the significance of the Tudor period.
The students got to explore the Tudor kitchens and get a glimpse of what life was like at that point in history. They also toured the impressive Great Hall and Royal Chapel, before taking part in a global influences workshop which took place in the Clock Court.
At the end of the day everyone had fun working their way through the great maze, before a bit of shopping in the gift shop and then boarding the coaches to return home.
Thank you to the History team for organising these trips, and to the year 7s who were a credit to the school.
