The computing department runs a variety of popular clubs throughout the week.
Minecraft
Minecraft club takes place on a Tuesday, and continues to be the most popular club in year 7. Mrs Carter has kept the students busy all year with various build challenges and in the next few weeks the year 7s will also host a Minecraft club for our feeder schools as part of our year 5 and 6 transition event. The students have already begun the preparation for this event and are starting to put together the activities that they will do in these sessions with the younger students.

Lego Spike Code Club
Our year 8 Spike club are busy building their robotic cars to use for when they start their Lego league mission in year 9. They are looking at the practice challenges and seeing how many of these they can complete. They are also looking forward to their trip to Legoland where they will be taking part in the advanced Lego Spike workshop.

Code club
The year 9 code club continues to be a busy and vibrant club where lots of students come together to work on and develop their programming. This is a great club where the students help one another out and share their ideas resulting in lots of fun learning.

E Sports club
E Sports club runs on a Wednesday after school and is currently gaming on Rocket League and League of Legends. All the students are developing their teamwork as well as their skills in the game to be able to compete against other schools.
