Dear Parents/Carers,

We are really excited to have your child join us on Wednesday, and just wanted to update you with some final information for the day.

As in previous communication, the day will begin at 8.50am and end at 2.15pm. Students will be dismissed from the front of school. Students should wear their current school uniform for the day.

Upon arrival your child will be registered into their tutor groups, where they will meet the rest of the students in their tutor group, they will take part in activities throughout the day, this will include a taster lesson. Please can I ask that your child brings trainers with them, as they may need use of these throughout the day.

As a reminder please ensure that your child has a packed lunch for the day. If your child is in receipt of free school meals we will provide a packed lunch that they will receive during the day.

We are looking forward to seeing you, as parents/carers, in the evening. There will be a chance to meet your child’s new tutor and ask any questions that you may have. Please be reminded that the evening will be from 6.00pm – 7.00pm in our new Performing Arts Centre. We will have students at the front of school to direct you to the location.

• Tuesday 9th July, 3.30pm – 5.00pm: Drop in session for any SEND specific questions/queries
• Wednesday 10th July, 9.00am – 10.00am: Coffee morning for any parental questions
• Wednesday 17th July, 9.00am – 10.00am: Coffee morning for any parental questions

At the beginning of next week, we will be launching our summer challenge for our new year 7, so please do look out for information on this that will come through via email.
