Non-Uniform / Christmas Jumper day in support of Save the Children

Dear Parents / Carers,

Thursday 8th December 2022 – Non-Uniform / Christmas Jumper day in support of Save the Children

The school will be supporting Save the Children this December by holding a non-uniform day, with the option to wear a Christmas Jumper, to raise money for such a worthwhile and long-established charity.

Students will be allowed to wear non-school uniform with the option of wearing a Christmas Jumper, but please note that dress should be suitable and appropriate to an educational setting and should not be revealing or inappropriate.  We also ask that students do not dye their hair or wear fancy dress.  Students can bring in a voluntary donation of £1 which will then be sent to Save The Children and will be distributed to help children in the UK and across the world. Donations can be made in cash or through Arbor or via the Durrington High School just giving page: https://christmas.savethechildren.org.uk/fundraising/anna-ward-christmas-jumper-day

Those students who have timetabled PE lessons on this day are required to bring in their normal PE kit which they will be expected to wear during their lesson as usual.

Thank you for your continued support.

Yours sincerely

Mrs A Ward
Assistant Headteacher
