During the heat wave we will be following guidance from the DfE and West Sussex and plan to remain open.
We are fortunate to have a large and well ventilated building, so all children can be inside during break time and lunch time. If they wish to be outside, there are many shaded areas.
Students can continue to wear PE kit or uniform with no blazer and tie if they wish. Please encourage them to bring a water bottle to fill from our water fountains. We advise that they apply sun tan lotion and consider wearing a hat to and from school.
If your child has a health care plan that means they are vulnerable to the heat, please inform student services if they will not be attending school.
As always we will keep this under review and inform you of any changes as soon as possible.
