We are fortunate to have the support of the Durrington High Fundraisers; they are an integral part of the school community. The fundraisers have raised thousands of pounds; this money has been spent on equipment and resources to enhance our students’ education experience and the school facilities as well as supporting a nominated charity.
All parent/carers and members of the school community are encouraged to get involved, even if they only have a small amount of time available. Donations from parent/carers, and businesses are extremely important to us. You can donate time, money, items for sale, raffle prizes or by offering up your services and skills. We are a friendly team and hope to meet you and discuss how you can get involved. All our meeting dates are posted on the calendar on this site or visit the Durrington High Fundraiser link to find out more information.
Throughout the academic year we hold several events ranging from car boot sales, quiz nights, refreshments for parent evenings and new for this year is an open mic night. We are always open to new ideas and would like to hear from you if you have any suggestions. For the new academic year we are currently concentrating our efforts on raising funds to support the following departments and projects;
STEM – green power project
IT – photography club
Performing Arts – Rock Challenge
PE – sponsored athletic away kits
One nominated local charity
Our target for this year is £5000. Can you help us to achieve this? We always endeavour to spend the funds in ways that will benefit all the students across all areas of the school and curriculum. If you would like to be more involved and help out at events, simply want to give us your ideas for fundraising events or perhaps even you work for a business that supports matched fund giving; please contact the fundraisers on 01903 705605 or email the team at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’d really like to hear from you.
